Plain-language draft. This page explains in simple words what this website does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet and may be updated.

Short version: this website does not track you. The only personal thing we collect is an email address, and only if you choose to give it for the launch list.

• No cookies. The site sets none.
• No analytics or trackers. There are no third-party scripts, pixels, fonts or embeds. Everything (including the videos) is served from this site.
• Nothing stored in your browser. The public site does not use cookies or local storage.

The launch list (email)

• What we collect: the email address you type, the time you signed up, and a short tag from the link you used (for example "youtube/short-12", taken from the web address if it has one) so we can see which videos bring people here. We do not store your IP address, and we do not build a profile of you.
• Why: only to email you when the Dense Knight Steam page opens and when the game launches. If something big changes about those two events we may tell you. We will not email you about anything unrelated.
• Who sees it: the list is kept in a database at Cloudflare (our website host), which processes it for us. We never sell, rent or share your address. When we send the emails we will use an email-sending tool; we will name it here before the first email goes out.
• How long: until you unsubscribe, or until we delete the list after the launch announcements, whichever comes first.
• Leaving: every email will have an unsubscribe link, and you can remove yourself at any time on the unsubscribe page. It deletes your address immediately.
• Your rights: you may ask us what we hold about you, or to delete it. Use the unsubscribe page, or the contact method that will be listed here once announced.

Links to Steam

The "Wishlist on Steam" button leads to Steam, which is run by Valve. Once you are on Steam, Steam's own privacy policy applies. Opening the Steam client app link (steam://) simply asks your computer to open Steam.

Hosting

This website is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). To deliver pages, Cloudflare necessarily sees technical details of each request, such as your IP address and the page you asked for, and may keep routine logs under its own privacy policy. We do not add cookies, analytics or any tracking on top of that, and we do not receive personal profiles from it.

The game

The game itself collects nothing and sends nothing, apart from the network traffic of online co-op between the two players.

Changes

If we ever add analytics or collect anything else, we will say so here first. Contact: to be announced.
